I absolutely HATE this place. Rent is high as a giraffe's tail however the customer service sucks, as a current resident when I complain about anything the staff is very dismissive. There's mold from disturbed foundations, cracks and pipes that they haven't fixed. They charge too much to only have the apartments wired for 70 amps when 100 to 150 is the standard since the 1960's the standard for new homes (and old homes with updated wiring) is 200 amps. In fact, 100-amp panels are the minimum allowed so perhaps that's why the building caught fire in the complex because most of the large appliances like a fridge is usually 15 to 20 amps so simultaneous plug ups will blow your fuse but yet they want to charge market rent as if they're competing with new loaded apartments for the price we pay. They charge for every single thing, I told them someone had been in and out of my place which maintenance is supposed to leave hanging cards which they had not after coming home to an ajar door once and another time a key under my mat and door unlocked totally and was told I needed to pay $75. I went 9 days in the winter and 9 in the summer with out heat and without ac although i paid utilities for them and was not prorated. The ducts were so filthy my children and i have had 2 upper respiratory infections as a result and was not reimbursed for the cleaning of the ducts which were the cause of our sickness. Lets not mention the false advertising for one month rent free in February if you move in by the months end only to be told it was only for the last day and i owed an entire month sending me in to debt with rent due that I had not accounted for due to false advertisement and being bamboozled. they have security but can't keep it, i've witnessed shooting in the day time behind the leasing office which resulted in a homocide and even a guy tripping on pcp he smoked in my hallway in 6233 Spring hill drive who then in his boxers on the playground acted a fool. Mean while security has tried to talk to my minor daughter and the foreign life guards they hired and she's only 13! Lastly the trash over flows and that's ridiculous. As recently as Monday and Tuesday being inconvenieced for line painting in the parking lot which the entire entrance was blocked and was a saftey hazard for the fire lane living in 9336 Edmindston road it's one way in and one way out and although the sign stated it was only to be done from 7 am to 5 pm the guy left his truck blocking it over night which I have a neighbor who has a heart machine he totes and can't walk far who comes out with a home health nurse and usually 4 persons walk him to the front to get his bus which he couldn't do this day due to this ------ small business owner they hired cutting corners to do a half assed paint job blocking off thee entire lot. When I called the guy out on it he said oh it's over night and I got signed in my lap which he'd written new signs with the time altered to accommodate his actions as opposed to the signs that were posted the business day prior at every space and last but not least they tow big time. Why not issue parking passes if a residents vehicle needs to be parked for repairs or because tags need renewing we shouldn't be subject to further debt. If we owned a house we'd store the vehicle at our home so why is an apartment any different if we stick to the one to two vehicle rule? No, instead they hire tow sharks who get out on foot to look for cars to impound and put a lean on for their own gross profit while exploiting their role and the law. It's for this reason I want to move but also to sue and have the culture of the complex changed.
