The apartment building has many problems, to include roaches, spiders, constant water leaks/water heating issues, just to name a few. If you like to live amongst your neighbors, you might enjoy living here. The walls, floors and ceilings provide no audible privacy at all, they are less then paper thin. The elevator they provide in the building is constantly under maintenance and is never properly fixed. To top everything off is the management of this place. The resident manager shows preferential treatment to the elderly. She is very slow to fix problems and when she does get around to having them fixed, it's never a permanent solution, just a temporary, cheap fix. Anytime something "is" fixed in the apartment, the apartment will be left in utter dismay for you to clean up. The management above her, the actual company that owns the building, is just as bad as the resident manager. They provide no service at all other then offering you the option to end your lease and move out, what a solution right? But don't think it's that easy, they offer you the option, but you still have to pay the fees to cancel your lease. The housing authority and city have been notified of problems with this propery several times also, since they refuse to fix damages caused by the aging of the building and especially the water pipes!! If you want to be Noah and build an ark to live in and collect the bugs to save, this is the place for you! Oh yeah, and your car will be hit all the time by the other people who live in this building!
