Don't make my mistake
Shortly after getting married, my wife and myself moved across country, blindly. We essentially threw a dart and came up with Queens Park Plaza. I have never made such a mistake in my life to this point. First, they pulled a bait and switch, but we had no choice but to take the lease they handed us, since we only had the truck for one more day. When we moved in, there were two broken windows, holes in the wall, a stove that didn't work, cockroaches everywhere, a broken air conditioner, mold in the bathroom, phone outlets that didn't work, etc. There was nothing right with the apartment. Parking is terrible, and the fact that everyone here backs into the spaces means that people backed into our car three times. There is also not quite enough parking for families with two cars, and there isn't a nearby public parking lot. In addition, there are a lot of extended family groups living here (the 2-bed apt below us has 9 people there. There have also been many murders in the neighborhood, and there are drugs sold in the parking lot. We have had mice three times, bugs constantly, and we can't wait to move out. Some of my neighbors have also had a big trouble with the hot water being out ALL the time (six times in 3 weeks for longer than 24 hours each time) and power going out everytime a decent sized storm comes through and staying out for quite a while. Unless you are a masochist, don't move here.Share This Review
