leasing consultant negligant.
i've visited The Kensington House twice on a looksie. The tenants are international, the town is adorable, & everything is within walking. The Leasing Agent did not follow up on our assigned appointment time, however. The first time we were supposed to meet, the onus was on me to "call" and "confirm" because she was not on site Sundays. I'll admit that I neglected to do so. I'm on a 5am to 5pm work/commute for a new federal job. The second time we were supposed to meet, she never showed up. She'd indicated she was at church, but she didn't come after church, and she certainly didn't call to tell me she was running late and/or skipping the meet. A leasing office without direct oversight and accountability is probably lacking in lease-enforcement and general assistance. That said, if you are seriously interested in a safe, relatively calm environment, which is metro-bus accessible, I would strongly suggest pursuing the leasing agent and inquiring on specials. As for me, I'm being avidly pursued by people who'll take my $16K per year for rent. I'll follow up with the leasing agents sending me "welcome" cards.Share This Review
