My nextdoor neighbor's dog barks constantly for hours throughout the day and night. My neighbor is already loud on their own without the dog - loudly slamming doors, blasting music with the bass turned up so loud it literally shakes my apartment, loudly banging/dropping things, etc - and they are aware that they are loud and do not care, so I am past the point of communicating with them in any way. Due to the pandemic, I am working from home and I am at my wit's end with the constant barking and noise overall. I can hear the dog barking through our shared wall and through every vent in my apartment so there is no escape unless I leave the house. I've reached out constantly to the leasing office by email and by phone and have received NO response. I have lived in this community for over six years and the communication from the office is abysmal. Do not move here if you are expecting good or reliable customer service because you will not receive it! I should not have to jump through so many hoops when I already pay way too much to live in this community.

Good afternoon Ms. Jones, I am truly sorry that you're having a less than pleasant experience with your neighbors' dog. I understand how frustrated you feel listening to your neighbor's dog. With shared walls, some of our other residents have felt the same way, and we've found that a communication from the office makes your neighbors aware of the noise coming from their apartment. We will directly contact and notify your neighbor of their noise levels; please allow a few days, and then let us know if things haven't improved. We appreciate your patience Ms.Jones, and I want to also thank you for continuing to trust Century Summerfield with your home.

I've lived in these apartments since they were under Camden and the quality has gone downhill completely ever since Century took over nearly three years ago. There is no security. The garage doors keep breaking and tenants are rarely updated on when they will be fixed. The management team changes every few months and they are rarely, if ever, good at what they do in terms of customer service. There have been a number of car break-ins and apartment break-ins, which could either be an inside job or done by people walking from the Metro and management is rarely transparent about any of this. Once you've lived here long enough, they will overcharge you on rent to either price you out (SO MANY people have moved) so don't be fooled by the reasonable prices when you move in because by next year your rent will go up at an astronomical rate and they will not negotiate no matter how good of a tenant you are. I love my apartment and I wish I could pick it up and move it with me elsewhere. They pretend like these apartments are luxury because they're near a Metro and in a decent area, but don't be fooled. Find somewhere else, if you can!
