No where is perfect, thats a given. Yes there are teens with nothing to do, yes there is "some" crime, but for what I'm paying.. the area is quiet, visitor parking is little to none (5 spaces) since I've moved in (6/06) the parking lot has been dimly lit and my car was broken into. Most folks are corgial and maintenance is friendly, even if they are ineffective. The women in the rental office are honest, no attitudes, just straight up honesty. Which is a preference over some other area apt complexes who think their sh don't stink. Yes, maintenance is slow for average work, but for my heat issue, they came out immediately (of course I had to call afterhours at 6:30 and say it was an emergency, but nonetheless)

Security sucks, that's the truth. Buy insurance! I would pay Glen Reed extra for a gate or at least a secured building. Kids leave the back doors ajar in order to reenter. People don't smoke in the hall, at least that I've seen, but they do in their own apts and that leaks into the halls, so it "seems" as if it is.

Laundry room: the working hours are jacked, only open 8a - 6p M-F and 8-8 on the weekend. If they had a secured entrance so residents could access it at any time, that'd be great. However now, I've heard there are bed bugs in 2 of the laundry rooms, so they have been shut down for almost 2 months now.

MY UPSTAIRS NEIGHBORS are the loudest in the world, but otherwise, its not that loud.
