The worst community I have lived in. When I first moved here, management was AWESOME! Very attentive, very caring. The staff and maintenance seemed to actually care! After my first year, I noticed staff leaving changes in property managers very frequently. I moved from a 1 bdrm to a 2 bdrm. Upon moving into this unit, it was FILTHY, so filthy that my carpet had to be shampooed twice (instead of them replacing it). Things were broken, rust under the dishwasher, dirty fridge; not move-in ready at all. I had to fill out move-in forms more than 3 times because of them being misplaced. There may have been 3 property managers in that 1 yr alone. I noticed the garbage would just pile up in the garage attracting rodents and roaches. Maintenance was leaving old/broken washers and dryers in the walkway of storage units and I could NEVER access my things I needed to get to them. The beautiful courtyards started to look like a dead forest. The grass was never cut, trash all over the halls. There was a spilled milkshake that stayed in the hall for an entire week. Finally, I decided to move to Windsor at Contee Crossing (best decision ever), same builders and just right down the street. But the Emerson headache still hasn't gone away. When I moved I noticed they said that I owed them for having to replace the carpet and for having to clean. The carpet was DISGUSTING when I first moved but they claim they have no record of my move-in forms but I showed them emails for proof and I guess it wasn't enough for them. So now, it's on my credit. The staff when I left was rude and didn't give a crap, just all about money and how they can makeup for the tenants that didn't renew their leases. This property spiraled downhill, fast! And it's unfortunate that I'm not the only one that this has happened to. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
