Resident 2014 - 2015

6/5/2015

I moved from out state to the Baltimore late last year and I checked out a lot of apartments in the Baltimore metro area. The view at Mill Run was definitely the number one choice based on a lots of factors, nothing is a 100% perfect to be real. But outstanding staffs in the office especially the Joy and April did a good job in making sure that all my rental needs were met. They have been very helpful on a lot of fronts and i think they are doing their best in making sure that we the tenants enjoyed our homes. Yes ! it is my home! I feel safe and enjoyed my apartment without any major incident. I have lived in various states and I know quality rental staffs when I see one. I want the same promo terms with free bonus rent when i first signed my lease, but they politely told me that the promo was for new tenants. I'll renew without arguing further because the power is not in their hands. If they can't resolved any issue with me directly, I was advise on how to send emails to the management and the two offices managers have been very helpful too. Management apartment complexes is not an easy task, it is hard to please all the tenants 100%, but I believe giving honest assessment or reviews is an integral parts of being responsible. The power of social media today cannot be overemphasized, So I think we owe it to ourselves as individuals and to other people to give truthful reviews based on actual events and not on our mood or one-off event. Maintenance is very fast and all my friends love my apartment so much that we usually hangout in the lounge sometimes without any issues. Gym is accessible 247 and trash picked up regularly. My only concern is the carpet in the Hall walkway, I think they need to wash it or replace it. The current color or smell does not befits the clean image of the entire complex. They might also gives the old tenant renewing their leases same promo as new tenants during promo season. Mathematically, I can't understand the differences between us and new tenants. If I'm renewing, it means I occupy the same room and it is one to one mapping that is equivalent to having a new tenants. Summary, someone has to take that spots right? So why can't I get it if I'm renewing during a promo season? if my record on payment is poor then don't renew my lease then. The occupier of that room/ spot is inconsequential to the rent payment!= old tenant= new tenant= rent paid on time! That is an honest bias! Overall, I'm satisfied with my lease! Keep up the good work. I will implore any new aspiring tenants to visits the complex and I believed that you will be satisfied and attest to efficiency of the office staffs and the apartment complex in general.
