King Farm Village Center Apartments

King Farm is a wonderful area, though to be honest I have heard a lot of stories about neglect seeping in, not just in this complex, but to others in the area. Neglect by management is a hell of a thing. You take a great property with a whole bunch of ups and you turn it into a place that is run down and gray an in a blink of an eye. This sort of atmosphere is contagious and that's unfortunate. The residents are dejected and have no pride in where they live. A lot of the residents are here in the Village Center for a year or two usually so nobody makes much of a fuss when things go wrong. Things do go wrong here, disproportionately more than in any other place I've lived in, in my six years in the DC area. I wont bore you with the details but I will say that the other residents complaints should not be discounted. Our building is falling apart and based on the lack of action by the renting company, I dont think it will ever change unless Regency Centers, the owners, or Abarais, the management company is out of the picture. Big thumbs down to the lead management liaison Glenn who obviously has better things to do than his job. While the poor state of affairs in the Village Center is not all his fault, he certainly has to take some of the blame for letting the horrid situation here fester.
