An Honest Review
We've lived here at Woods Edge for less than one year, and though we do not plan on renewing our lease, it has been an overall pleasant experience. I agree with previous statements about some cracks in the walls and nails that have popped out. There is also a couple spots in the bathroom that are starting to rust, and oddly enough the stove knobs were installed backwards so that it doesn't correspond with its labeled burner.
However, our garbage disposal broke one time and the maintenance staff responded within hours. In fact, both the office and maintenance staff are competant and friendly. Our neighbors are relatively quiet and while I've heard them while they were in the hallway, and occasionally in their own apartments, it's never gotten to the point of even an annoyance. We've had instances where a downstairs neighbor's dog was howling for days, but I fault the neighbor's negligence rather than the building for that problem.
My one big big big complaint is safety in the parking lot. My car was broken into and my stereo was stolen (luckily I don't keep anything else of value in my car). It's infuriating to think that ones property is not safe at their home. Since then I've been much more careful about parking as close to the building as I can and I just don't feel safe walking to my car alone after dark. I'd warn any tenant/potential tenant not to keep anything of value in their cars.Share This Review
