I moved to this apartment complex from the Midwest, and I haven't felt the need to leave. My personal experience has been positive over the years. No one complex is perfect, but there are many aspects to living on this property and here are some of my experiences: - The interior of the apartments was updated only a few years ago, so there are new fixtures that updated the look of the apartments compared to when I moved in years ago. - They are very responsive to all types of maintenance requests: The same maintenance staff worked there the entire time I lived there -- they know the property inside and out, are trustworthy, and respond to requests as soon as possible - unless it is an emergency and then they respond on the same day. - The outside and the property are well-maintained and clean. I've personally seen the maintenance crew work to keep the property clean every single day. - As a person who sometimes works odd hours and travel, I've appreciated being able to call the leasing office for assistance with mail, if my door is locked, etc. I've felt safe walking from my car to my door in the evenings as well, and that is very important. -Based on my experience, the rent here is very fair for what you get. You won't find the same combination of space and local amenities and access to several road and transportation options for this price point very easily. Here are the few drawbacks: - Like any building managed by a major property management company, read the fine print on your lease and be fully versed in how and when you can give notice. As well as how much you will be charged for water and sewage costs so you can factor that into your budget. - There's pretty high turnover in the leasing office. I tend to think this is fairly common, and probably doesn't impact people who live there for shorter periods of time. - On occasion, I can hear one of my neighbor's radio, because while the construction is sturdy if someone wants to be loud, there is no way to avoid it in a shared space. But this is not a daily issue, and again I cannot hear any of my other neighbors some of whom have children.
