I moved in about a year ago towards the end of their renovations and during the honeymoon period (about 3 months), it was great, but than Georgian Towers showed its true faults.

1) Emergency Maintenance???? Yeah, emergency means right away to normal apartment buildings. Here it means when I feel like coming to look at your apartment.
2) Cold water anyone???? It's always nice to wake up and see if you are going to have hot water or not. More often than not, its just cold water. Hot water not included in the rent.
3) Hope you love thin walls!!! You can hear every single thin through these cheap walls. If you like peace and quiet, than don't bother coming here. Its 24/7 noise.
4) Careful, everything breaks. True, it is an older building, but they just did renovations and already you can see broken doors to the trash room, exposed wires and cables (fun for the kids to play with, huh) and leaking pipes in apartments. You wonder if this has been reported or fixed and the answer is yes it was reported, but never fixed.

This is truly not worth your money. I strongly encourage moving to Silver Spring, but if you value non-stress and hassle, than avoid Georgian Towers at all cost. It is just a headache and a nightmare no one should have to live through. Thank goodness I am moving and hopefully this place will be condemned.
