I've lived here for 3 years now and I wonder why I've stayed so long. There have been so many issues over the past 3 years that I don't even know where to start. I'll give a general run down of ongoing issues - <br><br>1. Numerous encounters with the management which is unhelpful, not well informed and doesn't do a good job of keeping up with current tenants requests. Every time I request maintenance I have to request 2-3 times or storm over to the office to get it done.<br><br>2. When I moved in, it was roach city that took several months to go away but they ALWAYS come back. I will never forget for as long as I live one morning in the summer waking up (I was asleep on my stomach) to a gigantic roach perched on my right shoulder. The thought of it sends chills up my spine it was that scary and yes I should have moved that very day.<br><br>3. Every maintenance request is taken care of half-assed. Paint over paint, this peeling, that chipping after layer and layer. Poorly patched holes, layed tiles, caulking you name it. <br><br>4. The electric bills are through the roof if you want any heat or AC at all. One winter our electric bill was $275.00 for one month. Anything set under low 70's is cool air. They came to look at the unit and told me if I wanted it warm I had to put the heat on 80. Have you ever heard of such a thing? People with homes keep it mid 60's at best and it's quite comfortable.<br><br>5. I had an A/C breakdown that took them 2 weeks to fix when it was terribly hot. I got no explanation after kicking and screaming.<br><br>6. If it snows or ices forget about the parking lot being safe. I took a nasty spill the other day after the ice storm and I called management to see what they were doing to implement retreating the lot and they gave me a line of bull and not one more drop of salt or cinder was put down. <br><br>7. After reading previous post I do believe I encounter the same issues with the way the property manager would talk to people in a degrading manor. She was the biggest UGH I dealt with in my life and was so glad in 10/06 that she was gone. <br><br>8. I escalated concerns to the regional manager who NEVER bothered to return my call.<br><br>9. Appliances are quite old and inefficient adding MORE to the electric bill.<br><br>10. Lease renewal letter seemingly don't come out until you past the time to give your 60 days notice and that point you have no choice if you arent happy with the increases which I might ad are going up and up and up. This year 7%.<br><br>Again needless to say im so sick of this place I am more than gone. I'm apartment shopping as we speak and hope to find a better management company and complex next go around!<br>
