It's not the worst apartment I've lived in, but it leaves a lot to be desired. The apartment itself is okay, but the hallways and laundry facility are dirty and in need of repair. The hall carpets and walls are filthy looking. The washers and dryers only work sometimes, and I have lost a few dollars in quarters. The lights don't work in the laundry room either so bring a flashlight if you have to do laundry after work in the winter. The walls are VERY thin. I can hear entire conversations from my upstairs neighbors if my TV if off. The floors are also very creaky. I can hear every movement from upstairs, and I'm sure the people below me can hear mine because I hear creaking with almost every step. There are lots of unsupervised and very noisy children outside every afternoon/evening. One girl stands outside screaming almost every day and there is often yelling/fighting going on. It's not a horrible place, but I wouldn't live here if you can afford not to.
Update: They have tried to clean up and fix up the place some, but the residents here are just wrecking it. They painted the hallways and put in new carpet, but less than a week later, someone spilled milk down the whole hallway. People smoke in the stairwells and leave cigarette butts in them. They did put in new washers and dryers which are very nice.
