Resident 2013 - 2014

DO NOT LIVE HERE. YOU WOULD BE A FOOL TO! The apartments are pretty decent with your own closet and bathroom but things break all the time for no reason(dishwasher, sinks, stove, microwave, lights, etc.)Your ceiling will leak all over your floor and you will have a dehumidifier installed for a long time and you will also be charged for that in electricity fees. It was made in a hurry and all the materials are very cheap and falling apart. If you have $600 a month to burn for rent then you can afford it, but most college kids who aren't supported by their parents for everything and still work while going to school full time still cannot afford the outrageous price. Your monthly rent will most likely get messed up somewhere here and there. Most recently I paid for my rent on the 1st of the month and they applied my check to another persons account, shut my internet off, and charged me again. Needless to say, I was not happy. They will not compensate for anything, the company itself is terrible and all the managers that have gone through (maybe 3 since I moved in this year) are not very good with communicating and treating the tenants as their top priority. Yes it's nice to have everything included but it comes with a HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY price. I don't even believe I should have to pay for the rest of my time living here at the Grove for all of the stuff I've had to endure. The price for a three person apartment is $1800 a month - FOR 3 PEOPLE! YOU COULD BUY A HOUSE MONTH TO MONTH AT THAT PRICE! When you sign your lease you will be told many promises that are never kept. They will charge you for renters insurance ($11, not a bad thing) and at least an extra $30 for your electricity and heat use for the whole year - EVEN IF YOU ARE FREEZING AND NEVER DO LAUNDRY! They are ripping people off left and right. If you live here you will regret it fast. Take my advice. You will be paying at least $600 a month by yourself for a three bedroom. Last year I paid $345- half what I pay now! JUST DON'T DO IT! The worst part is they will not give you an email address or phone number to contact corporate to complain about all of the problems! (I can't find it online either!)
