Agree with some of the postings that the apartments are not the best ones, i.e. they are just in old houses downtown versus shiny apartment complexes with pools and gyms far from downtown. However, I like living close to my school and do not have a car - that is why Bartonbrook properties were a good option. moreover, the apartments have some furniture - bed, table, chairs, drawers, etc. About the management - I would say that they are pretty responsive to my requests, flexible and open to negotiation. The application process is the easiest I have met (I am an international student and did not need to complete a bunch of stupid US-specific application forms).
