We couldn't control our own temperature, so it was always freezing in the winter. When we asked the management to fix it, they did nothing. Our kitchen ceiling fell down because of a leak in a bathroom above us. It took more than a week to get it fixed, and we had bath water from the apartment above us leaking into our kitchen. On top of that, our neighbor had rats for pets, and they would frequently find their way into our apartment, and we had bats in our attic. Also, they'll try to charge you late fees even when you didn't pay your rent late, and won't say anything about it until you get your security deposit back when you move out.
