Pheasant Run Apartments

This place was a gem when we first moved in (The apartments are quite spacious and the rent is decent for Ann Arbor). But since then thay have raised our rent through the roof. They recently built a new club house with workout area, but you can only go in there when there is an attendent. The last workout building they had was destroyed by arson. We have had NUMEROUS problems with the maintnence here. The plumbing in our apartment has always been problematic, our bathroom has leaked on everyone that has lived below us. The dishwasher always leaks on the floor because the bottom of the door is rusted out. The staff has come in several times to "fix" these by "calking" or "grouting". The reason we are moving is because the staff has stolen prescription medication from our cabinets. We had to have our locks changed, and they (maintenence) are supposed to sign the key out from the manager when they need to come in. But, they have been in here since then without a work order or knowledge of the manager. I can tell when they are here by the way they lock the door. The management refused the cooperate with the police when we reported it, and tells me I´m wrong when I say there has been someone here. The apartment itself is not so bad (I´ve seen worse), the location is OK (southeast, barely within the limits of Ann Arbor), but the staff is horrendous. I do not recommend living here. It´s scary to think the only way I knew they were breaking in was because they lock the door differently than I do.
