Resident 2013 - 2014

2/11/2015

Brighton Glens is overall a pretty decent place to live. We had several minor maintenance issues and management was always quick to respond (almost always next-day). When I moved in I was promised that every unit was cable-ready for Comcast. Turns out mine was not and after raising this issue with management they credited me the cost of having Comcast come out to hook it up. I should mention the apartment next to mine on the first floor had a pipe burst during the winter and their ENTIRE apartment flooded like crazy....water rained into their place. I don't know what the final outcome there was, but my apartment was luckily untouched. Management and maintenance was out in the middle of the night taking care of it. Noise can sometimes be an issue I will admit. My upstairs neighbors liked to bang around, and if you are on the first floor like me you are very close to some of the parking spots. Staff is very friendly and always enjoy seeing me and my dog! Laundry is on-site but you have to walk up to the office building and use a key. Washer and dryer each take $1.50 in quarters. They were redoing the siding on all the buildings when I moved out, the new siding looks a hell of a lot better, the old stuff was rotting. Snow removal is also good. For the money, this place is great in my mind! You are really close to downtown and I96. They have a height restriction for dogs, but it seemed pretty lax as I saw dogs that were definitely larger. Add $30/month for each dog.
