We had lost our copy of our lease due to some water damage, so in mid February we called the new manager, Debbie, and asked her to look up our lease to tell us when we should be ready to move. She told us that our lease expires the end of March, we said okay and found a place to move to, signed a lease then went in at the end of the month to tell her when we would be out. She told us then that our lease ended in May, not March, and that we would be breaking our lease by moving. She then told us we should of came in earlier and we would of known and not signed our new lease. Expecting the office manager to be able to look up and read the lease is pretty basic, or at least i think.
