I have lived in this complex of over two years. In my honest opinion there are better options in the city then this place. For starts in terms of pricing this place is priced around the same as brand new apartment complexes which are popping up every month now. The only real plus to this complex is that utilities (heat, water, electricity) are free / included in the rent. Being here has made me skeptical though, the reason for this is probably due to the age of the building (100 years old approx). So I would say that if they could charge for utilities here they would, but are unable to because the apartments aren't individually metered. This building used to be an office building so all the apartments are converted from office spaces. The ventilation here sucks or at times is none existent. The insulation here is horrible especially around winter and the effort to make this place live-able is not really worth your time as a renter, if it were a house that you owned that would be a different story. Management is almost none existent most of the time and the guy that runs this place will put on a friendly front, but when you need him for actual problems you are having with your apartment he will turn into an obnoxious jerk and will put more effort into not helping you than helping you. I know resident who have been here for years that are done with dealing with the bs. Because There are so many new apartments in the city now I would look at those, or even older apartments that are priced lower and offer the same. This place may look grand from outside but living here long term is probably not great for your emotional or actual health. Also there are only two washers and three drying machines for the who complex, there are no dish washing machines, the kitchen space is small and difficult to use if at all. I would not suggest this place.
