Resident 2020

8/26/2020

The walls are extremely thin, not just the walls but even the floor beneath me. I work from home in my office and so does the guy below and I can hear his entire conversations. Its extremely frustrating hearing this dude talk at the top of his lungs all day on the phone. When I moved in the heat did not work for over 4 days. We found a huge part of our granite top cracked in half. They had someone come back and glue it back together, talk about cheap. The water pressure for both bathrooms is terrible, you can barley wash your hands and not to mention only with extremely hot water, you can cant navigate between cold and hot. I live on the 4th floor with the nice big decks outside but the upside to that is my balcony is right above my office and whenever someone walks on my balcony a whole bunch of white stuff like dust comes from our ceiling. The rent was $1750 with only electric not included. Turn to come out since I wasn't as qualified as they liked me to be they bumped my rent to $1850. During the summer now the air has been shut off about 4 times now as well. My electric bill rages anywhere between $350 if were conservative and if we plan on using the A/C more than often its usually about $500. The big reason being is that the windows are complete crap. This place is not insulted correctly! However the least I could say is we haven't seen bedbugs yet! I would not recommend this place to live in, I regret signing the lease from the beginning only to now be locked into awful 2 story loft.
