Verified Resident ā¢ 2017 - 2018
Overall I enjoy my apartment and I believe the staff is well intentioned. They conduct lots of events to serve the residents and get them interested and have fun. However, when I moved in my balcony had rusty nails and sharp sheet metal all over it that almost cut my dog. A large amount of people were also unable to move in on their move in day because many apartments were simply not ready. However, these tenants were still expected to turn in a full months rent before even receiving keys to these apartments that were not ready by the move in date that was stated on their leasing agreement. Both of our windows are broken (and have been broken since move in day) and maintenance cannot fix them because the windows are so outdated that they are no longer produced. We have to use an old cable box to prop the window open. Our counter was also broken on move in day; it wobbles because it is no longer fully attached and can be moved easily. Maintenance "fixed" it but then it broke again promptly. Our shower was clogged on move in day and we had to use 1.5 jumbo bottles of drano before we could shower without standing in a full bathtub by the end. The one bedroom apartments also do not have a silverware drawer. The last time I used the workout room all four treadmills were broken and one of the ellipticals was broken. On a more positive note, the pool area is large, new, and nicely furnished. I enjoyed using it quite a bit this summer. Sometimes it can take longer to get packages after ordering them (depending on how many packages arrive and how long it takes for them to get logged at the office) but it is nice not having to worry about porch pirates. Overall, I enjoy my apartment and it is cozy but I would not recommend this place to a friend just because I personally believe that it is overpriced for the size and general quality of the apartment. I do believe the staff are all kind and always try to be helpful; I just think that the higher up management should consider making some changes to their apartments in order to make it more worth the price.
