I originally moved into a studio apartment, which was incredibly spacious and cheap – perfect for when I was in college. I later upgraded to a 1 bedroom. Keep in mind this complex was originally built in the 1940’s so it is old, but has lots of character. I would not describe the apartments as modern but they are very functional and affordable. I would love to stay but I’m running out of room and need more storage.

I will admit the parking situation has gotten much worse since I first moved in but I have never had a problem with anyone breaking into my car. They do have an overflow parking lot but as a single girl I don’t feel safe making the 2 block walk when I get home very late at night. Don’t misunderstand, the neighborhood is great—I like to jog and you will find many people out and about walking, jogging and etc.

The maintenance has always been quick to fix anything whenever I’ve had a problem and they are very polite. The management is great to work with! My only real problem is that the hallways are not maintained anymore and people are incredibly discourteous regarding the shared laundry facilities. But these negatives are the result of low rental prices so I guess you could say they are a necessary evil.

Also, I was just informed that the complex has been sold to another company so who knows what will change.
