Campus Court at Knollwood
Former Resident · 2018 - 2019
I lived in a 4 bed, 4.5 bath townhouse and it was utter garbage. The rent is extremely high for what it is. The rent alone was $555 a month, not including water, gas, or electricity. At the end of each month I was paying about $650-$700. The stock apartment was very nice but as soon as we moved in, there were so many issues already. There were holes in the walls and the floor. Half of the lights didnt work. Our laundry room door was broken. The stove wouldnt turn off once it was on. It was a nightmare. I moved out after 9 months. There was also a lot of unusable space in the specific townhouse style I was in. The walls are paper thin and if our neighbors smoke, we can smell it for days in our apartment. Even with the windows shut, I can hear peoples conversations outside. Also, people do not pick up after their animals and the management and maintenance does nothing about it. Throughout the winter, the parking lot was barely driveable and the sidewalks were barely ever shoveled. There were times I had to shovel myself out of my apartment to go to class, and other times I couldnt even go to class. Also, during my move out, the staff was very uncooperative. I had called and asked about coming later in the week to get my big furniture and they had told me that I was able to do that and that the maintenance staff wouldnt lock the doors until after I was done. I came back two days later to get my furniture and it was locked. I called the office and they gave me a bunch of -------- excuses. I also was told that after eviction I would not have to pay for the rest of the summer of my lease, and then they charged it to my account anyway. This whole facility is -------- and complete and utter trash. I would never recommend living here to anybody. If I'm paying this much money a month, not including any utilities, I expect more respect and little bit more professionalism, upkeep, accountability, and overall better service from the facility.
