Firstly, the electric bill is CRAZY. Our monthly bill is over $350 a month and we have the thermostat set at ~65F during the winter and ~78F in the summer. Yeah there are parking spots, but good luck getting a spot in front/close to your place. Maintenance doesn't do a good job. They forget to do stuff, say something is fixed when it's not, say 'that's the way it's suppose to be' when it's obviously broken, and/or just ignore it. During the winter the parking lot and sidewalks are covered in snow/ice and the parking spots are not cleared. It's difficult to pull into a spot or get out of one. We've helped multiple people get out of their spots this year. It's nice having laundry in the unit, but our washer's turn-knob button is broken and I've told maintenance multiple times that it is broken, yet they won't fix it. The staff in the office are clueless and you have to repeat what you just said to them. Copper Beech puts up a false front. Looks nice, but the quality is terrible. Oh and security is a joke.
Pros: laundry in unit, lots of space, near community amenities
Cons: maintenance is terrible, staff is terrible, parking (finding a close spot or a spot that is not piled in snow), energy bill is ridiculously expensive, thin insulation, poor building materials, loud/party neighbors, may not seem like much but mailboxes are far away (at least for me: 3-4 buildings down), and people randomly walking around looking into cars or dumpsters.
