Copper Beech is a horrible place for a college student to live. I lived in Copper for two years.. The first year i lived with three other buddies, big mistake.. Everything in the apartment is extremely poorly made, as if it were made to fall apart. I admit that first year we partied a little much and deserved some fines and fees after moving out but charging 5 dollars for every light bulb that i did not replace? common. They ate up all of our security deposits (that's four people's security deposits)plus i had to pay at least $300 more. Against my better judgement i gave them a second chance the following year and moved in with some people that did not party. We never had one party and kept the place very maintained. After moving out they ate up all the security deposits again (three people this time) and would not accept my parking pass late? Because i did not have my own vehicle with me at the time of checkout and i was unable to produce my official Copper Beech parking pass that can only be used at copper beech. I was immediately fined $100 for this useless piece of plastic that could not be turned in late. 3 years go by.... i have not heard a word from Copper about the parking pass after i paid for it. They start calling me now saying they will send me to collections if i do not pay for it. I paid it, they have no record (who would five years later?) and tell me i need to produce a bank statement or i will be sent to collections. I have to bend over and give Copper Beech more money. It really is a shame the way college kids are taken advantage of and how much debt we are forced to go into. DO NOT GO TO COPPER.
