Hidden Hills Apartments
Resident • 2008 - 2009 Not Recommended
I moved in August of 2008 and have been here long enough to know this is not the place for me. Hidden Hills has some good and bad qualities but it also has the inconvenience of housing immature students who have little respect. The Good: -bathrooms are decent size -washer and dryer included -kitchen and living area very spacious -price is fair -office staff is friendly -mile from campus -decent maintenance staff -finally realized they needed to be pet friendly The Bad: -when I moved in I was told you could sign up to get a visitor parking pass. I remember which lady told me and I went back there a few months later and they denied ever saying that. -towing excessively even when not at 75% full capacity (T&J Towing are the worst) -not enough parking spaces -horrible ice removal -walls are paper thin, can hear everything -SAFETY IS AN ISSUE, security is a big problem. many break-ins and stolen items -apartment was not move-in ready, rooms and appliances not clean, we had to clean ourselves -very loud, many parties -now you can only break your lease by paying a full YEARS rent, not a couple months. -people don't pay attention in parking lot -if you have a morning class at Western and want to catch the bus, don't waste your time. The bus stop is one of the last ones and by the time the bus rolls in, the bus is jam-packed and the driver usually drives off w/o stopping. -residents are immature and rude with little respect for others
