My apartment is spacious and has great natural light in the living room. The master bedroom is gigantic. That's all the good I have to say. My winter gas bills are enormous because the windows that let in all that natural light also let in all the cold air. Forget peace and quiet - you can hear EVERY STEP your upstairs neighbor makes. It's not the neighbors' fault, it's the incredibly shoddy construction of the buildings. When you have something that needs to be repaired it's a 3 call minimum until it's done. By call I mean going in to the office; getting anyone to pick up the phone is impossible. I'm guessing this is because they're understaffed (1-2 people there at any given time). When you do go in to the office you have a long wait because everyone else is there too since they can't get through on the phone. I don't think I've ever had a question answered definitively when I've asked it. Anyone I speak to has to take my question to "Steve". I don't know who Steve is. I've never met or spoken to Steve. I think he's the printer or an office chair or something. I've fallen in the parking lot in the winter 4 times because of the icy parking lots. Asking them to be better about maintaining a safe parking lot gets you nowhere. In the spring and summer I have bugs everywhere because of the huge gap at the bottom of each exterior door (I live in one of the buildings with exterior apartment doors). Charges on your monthly bill are never right. I've had some months go in my favor and some go in their favor. I've given up on asking for corrections. When your renter's insurance is up for renewal you will receive countless emails in spite of having sent in proof of your renewal and receiving confirmation that it was received. And the cherry on top of this crap sundae is ever rising rent! It went up over $100 each renewal. Please do yourself a solid and never, ever move here.
