NO! This was my first apartment, ever. I thought it was cheap, and okay for a person in school. BUT it was too good to be true.
Never have I had any bed bug issues. I didn't know that bed bugs were a real thing--I thought they were just a bed time phrase analogous to "break a leg" in show time.
But oy, was I wrong. Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. I almost sued them. Lost a lot of my stuff, and I was traumatized from the bites.
The staff was brainless, ignorant, and condescending--even though I had more education than them, and read the law pretty thoroughly.
They also had the nerve to blame ME for bringing the bed bugs in--even though I have never had an issue in the many many years I've lived at home with my family.
The manager doesn't listen, he is a typical sociopathic sales person, who doesn't care about the well being of his tenants, as long as he gets his money.
I don't usually write reviews. But I don't think you should risk it. It's noisy. Disgusting. And not worth it. I suggest that all the people that have written about the bed bugs in this place, file a report with the Lansing Health department. Sometimes, a certain number of reports can trigger LHD to evaluate this property, and take action.
