Pros:
-Large open grassy area right outside.
-Close to 496
-set in a quiet neighborhood
-they provide large bins of salt in the winter time. (but no shovel)
-lots of parking
Cons:
-So many bugs! Spiders, small ants, large ants, carpenter ants. Management does not offer regular maintenance for this issue either - you have to call and complain to trigger them to call pest control.
-1 washer 1 dryer for 8 apartments.
-Charges a hefty $25 pet friendly fee... that doesn't seem friendly to me. especially when they only put in the cheapest carpet they can buy at Lowe's and replace it annually anyway.
-susceptible to water damage - our apartment had water damage multiple times from leaky sliding door or multiple instances of water heater leaks.
-No amenities: no pool, club house, etc. Office staff moved much further away, so it can be challenging to get a hold of them. they offer to let you use a neighboring pool about .5 miles away but it's a hassle to get a key.
-Personally I have had some rude office employee interactions. not always, but more often once we informed them we were not renewing our lease.
-Maintenance workers do a hit-or-miss job on snow removal. Often doing catch-up work in the middle of the night. (Super Loud)
-They charge you $1.95 to have auto-debit payments. No other convenient place to drop off a check, etc, so it feels like you're being nickel and dimed to death.
-They do not offer recycling. The trash bins are always overflowing with old carpet or padding.
recommendation if you're going to rent here: do not get a bottom floor unit! Not worth it... you can hear EVERY step the people make upstairs.
