Twin Arbors Apartments

Twin Arbors has a great location, just 2 miles from the heart of Plymouth, a long walk if you´re so inclined. Also only a half miles from scenic Hines Drive. The price is slightly higher than average for this area and the service is poor.

Read your lease carefully and don´t feel pressured into signing a 15month lease, they´ll give you a 12month lease if you request it. Care of the facilities leave something to be desired, as they don´t spend any money on general upkeep. My building has had black mold and water leakage problems, though not my unit.

You don´t get a water bill based on what you actually use. Your water bill is based on the total complex useage and divided by your occupancy factor. There is a $3.75/month account fee for this privilege. So there is no incentive to conserve water and no penalty for squandering water.

There is also no carwashing allowed, presumably because of the communal water billing. Also note in the lease that no car repairs are allowed on the property, so if you like to take care of your car yourself this may not be the place for you.

Landscaping leaves something to be desired. The bushes on the side entrance to my unit were not trimmed until summer was almost finished and the bushes were overgrown. The only landscaping is done at the buildings that face the road and the office.

The complex manager has changed three times during my one year stay as they attempt to attract more tenants.

The bright security lighting is too strong and ill-placed. It will light up your bedroom at night so you don´t need a nightlight, even with the included vertical blinds.
