SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.

We do apologize and we are sorry you did not agree with your move out charges, we are very conservative with charges at move out and we do give residents move out check lists and charges in advance so if the resident chooses to make the repairs prior to their move out they are not charged, didn't the office walk your apartment with you prior to move out, didn't you receive a move out checklist, we keep pictures on file explaining why you were charged the fees. We are sorry you were surprised by your charges. Water bills are always for the previous month and while you occupy the apartment. We appreciate you and wish you all the best in your new home. We are sorry to hear you feel this way still; we thought all was resolved with the situation when you accepted our offer of a $250 rent credit in June of 2015 and the installation of brand new carpet the day after you moved it. As for the rent check, the check was indeed received with your roommate's on March 1, 2016. It was placed in our leasing office area and inadvertently overlooked, because it was post-dated for March 3, 2016. Once you brought this to our attention, all late fees charged were reversed from your account. As a result we no longer accept post-dated checks. In regards to our maintenance tech who had changed smoke and C/O detectors throughout the property doing preventative maintenance, he felt awful when he learned of his mistake with the key, he did apologize as did the entire staff. The staff insisted on the lock change and were happy when you agreed to it the following day. Again, we are sorry that we let you down, we wish you only the best in your new home.
Our maintenance staff replaced your stove with a new one and we are sorry to hear that even though it was replaced you still unhappy. Please contact one of the managers at the office to discuss how we can make this right! We want you to live living here and be happy at The Oaks!
