Rochester Place Apartments

I recently moved into Rochester Place apartments, and was really exciting by seeing the surroundings. My apartment was really nice, newer bath, kitchen and carpet. A few weeks after I moved in, I put some of my belongings into storage. When I went down to my storage unit, there was cat feces and urine smell, so I called the office and told them and they told me to put my stuff into an empty unit and they would change the number on it to corrispond with mine. They never did that. A month later I went to get something out of my unit and EVERYTHING was gone. They thought it was stuff left behind from a tenant that moved out. I had things from my Great grandmother, my grandmother, a tent and all of my yearbooks/pictures and much more. I called the office and after telling my story to 2 people, finally talked to Greg Stein "regional manager". I gave them a list and price of all things thrown out BY THEM adding up to about $4000. After a week or so of gathering letters from my family stating I DID have these items, they are offering $1000. AND I AM STILL A RESIDENT! This was their mistake.....I DID NOTHING WRONG. They don't care about the people that live here. I was told that Christi (the girl that never put the work order in to get the number changed) was disciplined. What a smack on the wrist??? I love the apartment, but the staff here is just wrong. I'm contacting the BBB, Ruth to the rescue, hall of shame and a lawyer. They are lucky I was only asking for $4000.....not to mention what this put me through.
