Resident 2011 - 2013

4/8/2013

My wife and I moved into these apartments in May 2011. When we chose Woodside, our decision was mostly made based off of price and that these "could be worse". After two years, bathroom fixtures are falling apart, the bath tub glaze is peeling (after 3 failed attempts for them to fix it), the closet door does not stay in its hinges, and the heat does adequately warm the apartment (despite their insistence that its working correctly). Even with a newborn living in the apartment, they don't find it necessary to hurry and fix these issues. Additionally, they hire a company to re-side the apartment buildings and take almost two months (and still working) to side ONE building. I assume this hire was due to a low bid, not quality and/or efficient work. To sum up our experience, you get what you pay for with these apartments. They may be among the cheapest in Rochester/Rochester Hills, but it may be worth your while to pay a little more every month.
