Not happy

I lived at Campbell Row this past year. At first everything was fine. I liked it because we could have our dog for free, and it was close to work. Management was nice, and everytime we needed service they came right out. Then the first water bill came. The bill was from June 1st through Aug. 30th, but I didn't move in until July 1st. They refused to prorate the bill. It was the highest water bill I ever had there - and I was only there for half of it! Not happy. I complained about the pecan tree in the back being dead and branches falling off. A bunch fell really close to my cars and when I complained, all they did was move the branches to the back of the property. Come winter we always had ice at our back door, and when the winds came hard we had another branch fall right in front of our door. We couldn't even get out the door it was so big and close. When we requested again that they trim the tree, they told us they couldn't do anything until spring, because it would be too hard to tell which branches were dead or alive. When I asked what I should do if a branch hit one of our cars next I got no response. Not happy. We had central air in our unit, and the temp guage inside was so outdated my bills were incredible (twice what I pay now in a house the same size). All they offered to do about it was change the filter. Not happy.
The only good things I can say is: Yeah, it's nice to have a backyard. It's even better not having people above and below you. But the price in the end is ridiculous.
Worst: Whatever you pay in security, you will NOT get back. When we moved in there were no less than half a dozen stains on the carpet in every room. All the counters were scratched and chipping, and a window was broken. We put all of that into our damage report when we first moved in, but they still charged us our entire deposit plus $30. We had a large stain in the bedroom from a glass of tea that had spilt, and they charged us $440 to replace the carpeting. A sticker got stuck to our counter, and they charged us $220 to replace the counter top. Plus $25 for everything they could think of. When we left we had put all the garbage in our own garbage cans and left them at the back of the apartment. We offered to come back the next week to take them out on garbage day, but they said it was no big deal-they'll take them out for us. Then they charged us $25 for each bin. There's no reasoning with them either.... Not happy at all!
Oh, and Campbell is the main road all the police and fire trucks use when there's an emergency, so don't plan on sleeping through the night/or taking a nap.
