Stoney Creek Village

I have lived here for 3 years and it is an ok apt. The old manager was friendly but don't be late with your rent, not even by one day. Informing her it will be a few days late doesn't make a difference and wont delay an eviction guide line notice at your door. The maintenance men are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner. The grounds are kept up (grass cutting, snow removal) with the exception of a few tenants who litter. I have always felt safe here. We did have issues with someone breaking into the mail boxes but that has been rectified. The walls are paper thin, I can hear when my neighbors get up in the morning and their every moves. Unfortunately that is the price you pay for living in an apartment that isn't sound proof. They have gone up on the rent but it is still affordable. The interior is nothing special with exception to the apt size they are your regular old basic apartments. The grounds as well as the interior does have a lot of potential but I guess if they renovated our rent would go through the roof. The community can use some community activities in order to bring the community together. Depending on what section you live in parking can be a headache the carport numbers do not line up with the apartments. The location is excellent right next to Stony Creek. All in all for the money it is not bad. As stated before nothing special here but it is far from a bad place to live. Look around and you will have a hard time finding anything close in size and price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent peaceful place to live.
