I lived in the community back in 2004 for a couple of years when the property was owned by Oakwood. I moved out to purchase a home and later decided to go back because I had a great experience. To my surprise the community and staff members were totally different. This place was like living in projects. Neighbors smoking marijuana all the time and fighting. I had to call the corporate office a couple of time to get maintenance to fix things. Someone else would always park in my carport. When I first moved in the leasing agent said if someone parks in your spot let us know and we will have the vehicle towed. After this happened a few times I called to report the incident and was asked by that same leasing agent what did I want for her to do about it??? I told her I was not going to pay for a spot that I could not park in and she quickly let me know that I didn t have to pay for it I could return the tag and not park there. I couldn t believe that was her response, Obviously I wanted a reserved spot if I signed up for it and was paying for it each month. The apartments are very small not much closet space or living space. No linen closet. Hallways are cleaned once a month but residents would throw trash down in the halls and set trash bags in the hall instead of taking out to the dumpster. The dumpster was always full and people would set stuff on the ground.
