My wife and I have been living here since labor day and have not had any major issues yet. The grounds are very well kept for the most part, aside from around the garbage dumpster area (though I have seen that people's laziness and inability to put their garbage in the dumpster generally causes this). The clubhouse and fitness center seem nice, though we haven't used either of them yet. We generally feel safe outside at night and in our apartment... it does get a little bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights it seems if you live in the parking lot side of the building. Our apartment had a few minor issues when we moved in, but they were corrected within the first week. We see maintenance around the buildings and ground constantly, and we feel they do a decent job. We are in an upper 1 bedroom unit with a fireplace and we like it a lot. The only real thing we don't like about it is that there really isn't much storage space. All of our appliances and utilities have worked well so far. We have forced air conditioning and heat and a washer and dryer in the unit. Our average gas/electric combined bill is between $80-105/month. The water, sewage, waste are billed seperately and are divided by total number of people living in the building it seems.... I still haven't figured out how they come up with the costs associated with the bills they send you, but that bill has been between $40-50/month so far. The apartment was painted and recarpeted before we moved in. We have never heard noise from other apartments in our building, but again, usually hear noise in the outside hallway and parking lot on the weekends. We have a bit of a problem with pot smokers stinking up our hallway in our building, but management seems to be actively addressing it without us even having to complain about it. The office staff has been very pleasant and helpful so far. They organize a lot of community events, but we haven't had the time to participate in any yet. Overall, these are some of the nicer apartments downriver in my opinion. We are 25 years old, middle income, and think that this is a nice, relaxed community so far. The prices are a bit higher for the area, but i think it is an easy tradeoff for having your own washer and dryer and forced air.
