SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

While we always like to hear from our residents, we're sorry to see that your experience does not reflect the high standard of living we strive to provide. We'd like to remind you that while your original lease expired on February 1st when transferring to a new apartment in August, a new one year lease was agreed upon. Due to the change of address, it is the resident's responsibility to notify USPS to provide a change of address as our team has no control over the postal service. Unfortunately, rent is due on the 1st and a late fee is applicable to the account after the close of the business day on the 5th. Our team received rent on the 6th which is why that fee was added to your account. We'd like to add that our property has been managed by the same company since it was built and our property manager has been here for 5 years. We hope this information was able to clear up any concerns or miscommunications that occurred during your stay with us.
We are truly sorry that your time in our community has not been more enjoyable. We do our absolute best to provide nothing but excellent service, and we apologize if we've failed to meet your expectations. Our maintenance team strives to handle requests quickly and effectively despite high volume, and we apologize if this was not your experience. We're very sorry to hear that your opinion us was negatively affected before you had a chance to experience our wonderful community for yourself. Hearing noise from neighbors can be an unavoidable part of apartment living and in the end, our team can only do so much to control the actions of everyone living at our community, but we are always happy to intervene and help residents if noise levels from neighbors begin to violate community policies. Overall, we care very much about the comfort and happiness of our residents and do our best to make sure that we're providing them with the best possible living experience through top-notch amenities and customer service. While we're disappointed that we weren't able to show you how great living at Cambridge House can be, we hope you'll give us a chance to show you what we're about if you find yourself in the market for a new apartment in the future.
Please come in and make any reports of any disturbances certainly during quiet hours. It is our suggestion if it is after hours to contact the Sterling Heights Police if your neighbors are violating our quiet hours policy and please always let the office know so we may also address the issue. We appreciate your feedback, it is unfortunate you did not enjoy your stay with us. Comparable to our neighbors our apartments are on the larger side and we are in fact one of the lowest rental costs per square foot in the area. You are correct we do not offer central air, but our carpet is quality, cabinets well maintained, and maintenance issues shall be resolved w/in 24 hours unless we must schedule a contractor or order material. If there is an issue with your neighbors or parking our staff is always available to assist you in any issue. We wish you best of luck at your future home. -Cambridge House Staff
It is unfortunate to hear you are unhappy with us and we would like to correct this issue. The upper management and Cambridge House Staff have discussed your situation in detail. We ask you to please contact the office so we may assist in resolving this issue and finding you an apartment at Cambridge House Apartments. Please remember in the future we certainly reserve apartments, but when a person(s) is on the reservation list the staff cannot give a specific date prior to the previous tenant moving out. We will always provide projected dates, but this is dependent on the previous tenant vacating at the agreed date. This is a very rare issue that we hope to resolve with you.
