Resident 2013 - 2015

1/11/2016

Please be sure to have a tour of this place and when you are there observe the walls, and paint in the hallways. Look at the glass on the main door, and the condition that the doors are in. And check back in the evening as well around six-ten pm, and just have a look around the inside and outside, (but do not go alone at night). When maintenance and management leaves at 5, the worse of the neighbors tend to make their presence known. This place is not worth the constantly rising price. There is an older man who claims to have a cat and adamantly invites young people in his home to see it.. he can be kind of rude when turned down, so stay away from him. The manager is often outside of her office smoking cigarettes with other tenants and maintenance men, making herself unreachable when we have a concern. Hallways and carpet are very dirty, walls are painted poorly in the hallways and they have been unfinished now for over a year. Huge ant problem in the spring and summer months. Hallways always smell bad. One dryer, and ONE washer per complex (EIGHT families share these) which you also have to pay for. The landscape is not well taken-care of, no soil is put down to protect the roots of the tree in the back, which people have continuously fell over. People are not responsible for their dogs, on more than one instance another dog got away from the owner, and attacked my two small dogs. Team members are able to come into your house with less than 24 hours notice with or without you being home. Notes with personal information are left on your door, that all neighbors are able to see and read regarding lease agreements, problems, etc. This may be a good or bad thing for you, but this place has a large amount of loud children, loud music and arguing adults. The pond is very dirty and not well taken care of. The neighbors are loud, and constantly fighting as well. People smoke cigarettes in their home, as well as marijuana and the hallways sometimes reeks of it, usually after 5 pm. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of nearby apartments for cheaper with more accommodations, such as pools or fitness centers, or bigger living spaces with newer appliances for cheaper. This place is a mini-------. The walls are even painted with a cheap contractors 'flat" paint, that is unwashable, which means any spots on the walls are practically irremovable.
