I've only moved in recently, but overall enjoy my neighbourhood. My only complaint is I'm in a building near a lot of children and although they can be noisy sometimes, they're just kids and they aren't doing anything bad so it is fine by me.
I live on the first floor, which has its benefits and disbenefits.
Benefits include:
-rarely/never have to put on the A/C, apartment stays cool in the summer
-private entrance to my home
Disbenefits include:
-you can hear neighbours upstairs when they walk (but I'm a heavy sleeper so the first floor is a good location for me)
The staff are incredibly friendly. They were able to put me into an apartment SUPER fast, which is awesome because I was given very short notice for relocation for work. Being an international client, I expected a much slower rate to get approved (to due background checks, etc.), but the staff did their due diligence to make sure I could get approved and moved in at a very expedited rate. My apartment was very clean when I moved in with only minor wear and tear damage.
They also have events a few times in the month in the community. I went to an event on the second day I moved in. Since I am new to the country and don't really know anyone, I was nervous to go, but my neighbours that I met that night were super nice and made me feel welcome to my new home. I have also talked to other neighbours since then and they have also been very friendly and welcoming to me.
I do trust the neighbourhood. I haven't seen any shady characters and I trust my car in the parking lot when I go to bed at night.
The pool seems to always be clean and maintained, as well as the fitness centre is always clean with fairly new equipment available.
