Be careful with Flo-Mar. Read their lease with a powerful microscope because they probably have some very miniature fine print within the fibers of the paper that will cost you. They are crooks in my opinion and you WILL lose a lot of money and time to them if you're not careful. Play their game (they have many) and be weary trusting them. Be really nice to the owners because if you get on their bad side for any reason, they will make your life difficult. For most people, living in a flo-mar owned apartment is probably fine. If you pay your rent on time and don't ask for much else, you might not have any issues. I personally had many problems and was constantly frustrated with the behavior of the Flo-mar staff. They will attempt to show your apartment at least 3 times a week if you decide not to renew your lease. This will become pretty annoying and intrusive. If you do not have a 3 days heads up that they are coming to show your apartment, you don't have to let them in. If you plan on renting from flo-mar, be cautious. Read the lease and then read it again. And then have your friend read it. Don't let them take advantage of you. Tenants have many rights and they will assume know one knows what they are.
