I live in a 1BR/1BA. The floorplans are really nice and open and it seems like all the apartment facilities have been maintained well. There are really big screened-in porches that are great to sit out in during the Summer and Winter. The kitchens could use a little updating, but everything is functional so you can't really ask for more at the price point of Schooner Cove.
I have heard of people having trouble with neighbors, but ours have been just fine. The walls are thick and though all my neighbors have dogs, I've never heard them bark (and I know they do).
All in all, I would recommend Schooner Cove. If you decide to rent ask for Lisa, because she is just lovely.
