I love the Pines, and have lived there five years, because it's close to work, well maintained, and in a great neighborhood. There's an indoor pool that doubles in size in the summer when the outdoor part is opened up, and a smaller pool by the laundry facility. Like all rents in the Ann Arbor area, rent at the Pines has increased quite a bit since I first moved in. The trade-off, and reason I stay, is I've got a short commute to work, the management team invests money to improve the apartment buildings, units, grounds, and amenities every year, and is quick to respond to my requests for maintenance. The grounds are scattered with Pines, and everyone is friendly and helpful.
