Resident 2009 - 2011

11/29/2012

All seemed ok, at first. From the outside, this place looks pretty good, no visible flaws, staff seems nice, all that jazz. Then you move in. First thing you notice is the ants living under the carpet, so you bathe your apartment is some ant repellent and hope your pets don;t eat it.Next you notice the thug life constantly wandering the grounds, probably going to walmart to spend their stolen ebt card, or going to the moa to steal whatever, and if they see anything they might want to steal on your balcony, well, they take that too. After that you notice the police are constantly driving around the buildings, likely looking for the thug life. After that you encounter your first, of many, fire alarms. the fire dept was there weekly for things, someone starting a fire in the entry way, in the janitors closet, in the garage, the fat people who started their apartment on fire because they couldn't pick up the cigarette they dropped, etc. then you find a dead bat in your baking supplies. after all this, you finally leave not because of that, but because for the second lease renewal they decide to hike your rent up not $20 like the fist time, but $120 because unlike the vast majority of the residents, the state isn't paying our bills and we pay our rent on time.
