Marathon management took over this property January, 2018. There first order of business was to raise the rents - excessively! My apartment went from $785 for a month to month lease to $985.00 for the same - or- sign a 12 month lease for $885.00. Used to be extremely low resident turnover, but I have seen many tenants leave thus far. Used to be a close, friendly community where you knew your neighbors and felt safe. Grounds used to be beautiful, but now bushes are overgrown, flower beds are dying, mulched areas are now just dirt, and loose tree branches on the ground throughout the complex. I could understand an increase in rent, but they have refused to make any improvements to individual apartments. In fact, I have been waiting over 6 months for maintenance issues with my apartment to be completed. New management is very abrasive and unwilling to do anything for the tenants when requested. There are no amenities to this complex - no air conditioning, no hardwood floors (actually old carpeting), no fitness center, no pool, no building security, no elevators, old kitchens (no dishwasher, no microwaves, tiny stove, old cupboards painted over, etc), old light fixtures, no public transportation besides weekday express routes, etc. Don't expect anything from management beyond the bare, bare minimum. They even reduced trash service from twice per week to once per week. I cannot recommend this apartment complex and will be moving in the near future.
