Before moving into this apartment, I have to admit the reviews were a little bit terrifying. I always figured that the people who write these reviews have some other beef with the management, so I took the risk. These apartments are not bad at all, as long as your expectations are managed. (FWIW, I am a 30-year old single female with no outstanding legal issues or bad credit.. I just live here because it's convenient.) Pros: week-to-week rental, small deposit, no credit check, pets are totally OK, clean buildings and laundry facilities, nice neighbors, ample parking. No bugs or anything that I've seen. Have never felt unsafe here by any means - the neighborhood is quiet and fine. Super convenient to 169, Hwy 7, Excelsior Blvd, and downtown Hopkins. Everything is paid for--heat, electric, water, local phone, cable TV and internet. Cons: rent is high for what you get (a TINY studio), the furnishings and carpet are older, the walls are very thin (can hear neighbor's TV), parking lots aren't maintained too well in the winter. Buildings aren't secure. Cable internet is not BLAZING fast, but it's perfectly adequate for Netflix, etc. Maintenance staff are neither friendly nor awful, but seem to do their job adequately and fix things when they are broken. All in all I recommend this place if you are willing to pay a premium for convenience and don't need to live in a fancy castle! :)
