Aldrich Ave. Apartments
Resident · 2013 - 2015
Not surprised to hear all this from others. I moved out of 2003 Aldrich a few months ago and it was hands down the worst living situation of my life. Rats, mice, roaches, ants, bedbugs....you name the pest and this place is probably ground zero for their breeding. The building was left unsecure constantly and homeless people and hypodermic needles on the ground in the basement were an almost daily occurrence. But frankly the pests and homeless were not as bad as the landlord himself. They do such a poor job maintaining the property that virtually every apartment has a wall or ceiling that collapses during the resident's stay. Once those things fall apart, it can take the landlords 3 or even 4 months to fix the problems. He also is well known for going into people's apartments while they are not at home and stealing valuables from the apartments. And at the end of the day, no matter how nice you leave your apartment and how much grief you have dealt with because of their negligence, when you move out, they WILL take your security deposit.
