I could not be more pleased with living here at Axon Green. The staff are friendly and helpful. My neighbors are the same. The dogs seem to love living here too. The building is clean and quiet. The parking underground is great all year round.

    I love living at this place. It has everything I need. It has an awesome location and is walking distance to many different trails. The lake is right nearby and this community is pet-friendly and there is a mini-dog park. Also, there is an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and there is an outdoor pool as well. I moved here six months ago and I've been very happy with this place.

      I loved this building for the first few years I lived here. It was a great community and a really nice complex that was well taken care of. The last couple of years things have changed though, with a change in management. They've started using our leases to enforce "rules" under very questionable interpretations, while also letting many things that used to be a priority now be completely neglected. There's also become a huge lack of trust in management after witnessing some shady handling of neighbor disputes. This includes multiple anonymous complaints from several tenants either being thrown away and not addressed, or not remaining so anonymous, which has only created more issues between neighbors. It also makes the rest of us feel like we have no way to report dangerous or inappropriate situations that should be handled by management. With the increasing prices, light rail construction 50ft from the building, and issues with management, I would no longer recommend this building.

        I've lived here a bit over two years now and generally its very nice. People are nice and things are mostly well kept. The desk workers are nice, when we have them. The dog poop piles up in the winter though. The parking lot / driveways have some bad pot holes that rarely or never get fixed. We have also lost most of the the grocery carts that we provided in the past and I heard they are not planning to replace the ones they removed. The only real reason I will likely not live here in the future it their relentless greed. They raise rents absurd amounts and don't seem to have any intention to slow down despite the obvious vacancies they are creating. I'd love to live here a long time but they are purposely pricing people out including me.

          This complex is very noisy, especially noise coming from the unit above and from the hallway. The maintenance staff is great however some of the Maintenace choices are poor, including how they have maintained the dog park, door lock and "smart" home choices, pilling up junk in the garage while not allowing residents to keep simple stuff like summer tires in there parking spots. The nighttime security staff is great however the security of the building and area is poor. The "smart home" tech feels unsecure, locks are made of plastic and passcode screens show smudges.

              I love living here. The location is amazing and very accessible to Bde Maka Ska, Whole Foods, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, the big downfall is the parking garage. It's dusty and gross. If you leave your car parked in it for a couple of days, a thick coat of dust builds on it. I wish they would clean it in a couple times a year like other apartment buildings do. Or have a better ventilation system. Also, there are large potholes in the parking lot.

                Overall my experience has been average. Part of my expectation when paying rent is to have access to the usable amenities that were advertised as a perk of living here. Most of the amenities are in poor condition and some cannot be used. The only consistent amenities are the gym, dog run and the outdoor pool. The grills are poorly maintained and breaking down, the fire pit is broken and there is no update on when/ if it will be repaired, the hot tub is cooler than the heated pool and the jets do not work. Other than that we enjoy living here and really enjoy the staff, the leasing team is attentive and the maintenance team is very friendly and we appreciate the communications on when things are moving slow or requests may take a few extra days

                  It was a nice view when originally moved in. Now the view has been ruined by the construction and I have to leave my apartment during the day in the summer when construction is going on because of the noise and vibration. One of the reasons I moved in was because of access to the greenway and now that has been taken away due to the construction. And rent has gone up even though I feel like the living conditions are worse due to the construction.

                    The community is safe, quiet, friendly. I have had zero complaints about living here thus far. Mantinance requests have been answer promptly as well. I do feel though that safety could be improved with the garage door into the elevator, a lock or second security measure would be wide, it would be very easy for someone to follow another resident in the garage and go into the elevator to get to resident floors. Other apartment complexes have extra measures

                      HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Our apartment was completely uninspected when we moved in, had multiple issues and was super gross and dirty, burnt out lightbulbs, destroyed carpet, ceiling stains, ect.. on top of that the leasing consultant who checked us in before our move in had NO CLUE what she was doing. She did not even know the difference between Centerpoint and Xcel Energy, nor did she know if we needed both. We were given broken garage openers. The place watches it's residents like hawks over the security cameras, yet can't seem to find footage of people who broke into people's cars INSIDE the parking garage that people pay $125 PER CAR a month for. Once MN opened up after COVID, they would personally email people who were alone in the elevators without masks, the place is basically an adult daycare center filled with rich snobs. Steer clear

                        DO NOT RENT HERE. I recently moved out and wrote a review about my experience and noticed that they conveniently changed the name of the apartments. Is it an attempt to tamper with the rating system? So here's my review again.... What awful customer service. This company is out to take your money and operates under the guise of being an upstanding complex that is safe and yet had a string of robberies over half of years time wherein they began to escalate to a watch guard getting jumped by 3 people and that same weekend my bike getting stolen from the indoor garages that were supposedly not accessible to the public. The lack of security was abundant in retrospect but I thought for sure my bike secured on the bike rack attached to the wall wasn't going anywhere until I walked out to find the next morning they unhooked the entire rack with power tools and walked off with the rack and my bike attached to it!!! The property management team of Bigos Management is a disgrace to customer service and the residing property manager Jason Phad is just another puppet who will just give you the corporate talk… See More>

                          The concierge staff is amazing! Always available and helpful. Clean, maintenance requests answered in a reasonable amount of time. I recently transferred to a bigger apartment and the office staff was great at making it a smooth transition.

                            I LOVE living at Be @ The Calhoun Greenway (Be)! I've lived here for 1 year and just renewed my lease. I grew up in Minneapolis, MN and this is by far the best location. Be is tucked back off the street so it can be difficult to find. However, that also means it's very quiet except the occasional train and the guy who happens to live above me. I rarely ever hear the people on my floor. Be is convenient to the chain of lakes and Uptown. I regularly walk to Whole Foods grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants like Chipotle, Punch Pizza, and Noodles & Co at Calhoun Village and Calhoun Commons (less than a 5 min walk). I've even biked to the Minnesota Twins game along the Greenway bike trail (It only took 15 min), which is located right behind Be. The concierge and front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. I usually swing by just to say Hi. They are also aware of upcoming events and have discounted tickets to many attractions. It feels very safe with overnight security and protected premise.                               I moved to Minneapolis a year ago from another state and the staff has been so welcoming and accommodating! They have made my transition into my new city and home so amazing. Kimberly and Charlene are so great and helpful - I have run into a few circumstances that they have gone above and beyond to help me out! For example, I had an important piece of mail get lost in the mail and they both kept their eyes out for it and updated me on the status. This is such a fun place to live! There are so many fun activities and events - it makes moving to a new place exciting and feel like home!

                                We lived in these apartments last year while in MPLS and really enjoyed them. The interiors were every bit like an upgraded luxury condo. Granite counters beautiful wood trim right on the green-way 2 blocks for Lake Calhoun and right next door to Whole Foods. True you need to be able to afford the Uptown area before you start looking to reside there so the prices were in line with the others surrounding communities. They had a lot of scheduled events and the people were generally nice and friendly. Maintenance was stellar! The heated underground parking was really nice and elevators were a life saver. There were times when the garage door didn't work and the elevators were down but you cant complain about much else.

                                  ------ Management, Mediocre Building, Not Worth The Price For the sky-high prices you're paying, you'd think it would be a nice place. 1. Price - insane. You can literally rent an entire house for what a 1 bedroom costs here - over $1500 with parking. 2. Utility Bills - sky high. In the units smaller than a 1 bedroom you don't save much money because they installed an electric heater rather than gas. My usual $30 electric bill skyrockets to over $100 per month in the winter. 3. Parking - a nightmare. There's nowhere to park after 10pm. Better get an underground stall and not want to have any friends over because they aren't going to be able to find parking. Note that it's still over a mile walk to get to the edge of uptown, so you don't get the "at least I can walk home from the bar" advantage either. 4. Pool - can't have more than 3 people at it including yourself according to their official policy which includes everyone wearing wristbands like you're 5 at a kiddy pool.
